Seedlings of Vateria indica from Palakkad district, Kerala. Family: Dipterocarpaceae.
Indian copal tree.
Grows into a large beautiful evergreen tree.

This is a wonderful shade tree as well gives good shade throughout the year.

One can see plenty of these beautiful trees on the Shimoga Agumbe high
way near Agumbe
