 Convolvulus sabatius subsp. mauritanicus (Boiss.) Murb. 
Syn: C. mauritanicus Boiss. 
Commonly grown ornamental, woody-stemmed trailing perennial with oval to ovate-cordate leaves hairy on upper surface (glabrous in subsp. sabatius), light blue to purple flowers lighter in center, 2.5-5 cm in diam, calyx with long spreading hairs (appressed hairs in subsp. sabatius).
