... most probably Haplophragma adenophyllum (syn. Fernandoa adenophylla).

I was seeing these pods for the first time and this was the name given to me.
So it could be wrong...please let me know the real id.

Hi,
 Agree with Dr.Vijayasankar & Dinesh. This is Haplophragma adenophyllum. Sending my photographs of [possibly] the same tree taken at the Mahim Nature Park.
 Have Dolichandrone falcata [Bersing / Medssinghi] on my farm. Will send photographs of the pods for comparison in a separate mail.

 You are welcome. Also have a Haplophragma adenophyllum tree [obviously planted] on my farm but have sent photographs of the tree at the Mahim Nature Park.
