sharing images of Sansevieria trifasciata flowering at a private society at Pune
Family Ruscaceae
Star-shaped flowers, six petals, white on upper surfaces, undersides light chartreuse. sparkle from dusk onwards, thrusting their petals outwards, with tips curled downwards and inwards, 6 elegant looking stamens and a long style with a small stigma. it is only for a night. By noon the next day, the flowers become listless.I could also see the pollinators foraging. The flowers had a lovely sweet fragrance which is only at night when flowers open

Thank you Nidhan ji, Prashant ji and Gurcharan ji for your appreciation.
Infact this was another moment of joy for me. I was observing the flowers daily for almost 15 days but to my disappointment they looked listless everyday until I read about it on the net and found that they open at dusk.  I rushed to see them as it was around 8.00 pm then, and there they were sparkling and smiling with a sweet fragrance.
