Dear Sam ji,

Two names: kakkathondi and kozhikudalam are listed for Trichosanthes bracteata (Lam.) Voigt

I could find കാക്കത്തൊണ്ടി kaakkaathondi ... please help me with the name kozhikudalam in Malayalam script.

Dear Dinesh ji,
Kaakkathondi is the correct English spelling. കൊഴുക്കുദളം Kozhukkudalam is the correct spelling, here കൊഴുക്ക് means densely and dalam is petal or petals, that is densely or clustered petals.

Many many thanks for all the efforts put to search and analyze this name.

I have a feeling that we should not include this name in our compilation, because none of the words: kozhikudalam OR kozhukkudalam OR കൊഴുക്കുദളം are neither popular nor found in Google search results.
