I too had thought of this genus, but could not find a match for the following species listed in TN Flora checklist.
barberi | brunonis | eriantha | grandiflora | hirsutula | incarnata | mungos | pectinata | pykarensis | roxburghiana | rugosa (3 varieties) | tirunelvelica 
I will re-check.

I think the posted plant could be Ophiorrhiza rugosa var. prostrata (D.Don) Deb & Mondal . It is considered a synonym of Ophiorrhiza rugosa Wall. in POWO.
Will wait for comments / validation of ID.
