Indianthus virgatus (Roxb.) Suksathan & Borchs. (= Schumannianthus virgatus (Roxb.) Rolf.), Fam : Marantaceae, Tall reed (shrub) in the western ghats area near streams, collected from Walparai, near tea estate, Coimbatore district Tamilnadu, elephants eat this.
