Uploading Erysimum cheiri (L.) Crantz (syn: Cheiranthus cheiri L.) from Delhi., common names Wallflower, Giroflee, Goldback. Commonly grown in temperate climate, rarer in Delhi. No wonder it was displayed under the title of Schizanthus at Delhi University Flower Show.

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- Cultivated in pots

Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- Branched annual herb

Height/Length- up to 70 cm tall

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- Simple, alternate, up to 8  cm , lanceolate

Inflorescence Type/ Size- terminal spreading corymbose racemes

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- 2-2.5 cm across, yellow, tinged with purple

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- siliqua
