My first posting in the government was at Jashpur, a small sub-divisionl headquarters in Madhya Pradesh, now in chhattisgarh. Now of course, it is a district headquartrs. The house I was allotted had about 10 millingtonia trees tall and old, along the boundary wall, and I remember, it had those lovely sweet-scented flowers in winter. One of the sweet memories I have of early '70s.
