Tutti frutti | IDreq20JanAR01 from Mudigere
Kind request to ID this fruiting plant from the  forest fringes near Mudigere, Chikmagalur district.

Date/Time-
 
14 Dec 2012 12.17PM

Location- Place, Altitude, GPS- Mudigere, Chikmagalur dist, Karnataka 
Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type-Wild, 
Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- 
 forest fringe, shrub(?),   
Height/Length-approx - 15cms approx
Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- Shape - elliptic, whorl, 3cms 
Inflorescence Type/ Size-
Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts-
Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- 1.5cms-2.5cms, approx.
Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.-

I am not sure what it is, but just remembered, once Shrikant ji had shared some what similar photographs of the fruits of some clerodendrum sp.

That looks like a pentalocular ovary with single ovule in each
locule...

I checked all species listed under Ochnaceae in FoPI, but it looks different.

Most probably it is Turraea pubescence or villosa, as they have simple leaves, reported from W.ghats, not Munronia

fruit looks like that of Munronia, but the leaf is different, for munronia pinnata belongs to Meliacea, the leaf is pinnate, but here it looks as simple leaf

But I am not able to relate these small pubescent clustered leaves with either Munronia pinnata or Turraea villosa
