A rich haul from Bennehole forest trek
 
Wild fruits and nuts collected from the forest floor during Benne Hol`e (Water falls, forest)  trek, 

Western ghats, BenneHole, Summer, 02 May 2008

I guess it will be fun to find identifications on a week end ! Will post my findings  (regional names ) by next week.

5. Uppage, Gamboge tree, Garcinia gummi-gutta
6. Strynchnos nuxvomica (Local name : Kasaraka), Poisonous fruit

8.related to amate kai(?); Fruits were raining fom this tree at the rate of 20 to 30  per minute. 
1.Related to sterculia Guttata   (?)
