Herb for identification from Ashtamudi, Kerala

Dear All,

Please help to finalize identification of this herb, recorded from the bank of a lake in Ashtamudi..I will share more pics in reply messages...

My guess is Varronia curassavica..and as per POWO this is distributed throughout India. But for me this was a new sighting..
