 Habenaria diphylla?/ is it correct?
i want to know
it was found growing on sloping ground among grasses at Sherla, dist: sindhudurg
it is having two leaves at the base of plant flat on ground (Sorry picture is not that good)

Yes this is Habenaria diphylla. It may come with different leaves too
(not appressed to ground, lanceolate, ovate). It may even not have the
side filiform lobes of the lip which are pointing backwards in the
pic). All those are deformities. H. diphylla what we get in Jharkhand
and Orissa is more white than green.
It says diphylla, but it may have more than two leaves.
