Shrub for Id_Goa Flora

Hii Friends,

Observing this shrub in Goa, seems very common all over the forest areas of Goa.
It is in flowering now.

Shrub height-12-15 feet
Area of observation-Forests of North Goa
Observation time-June 2021

Kindly help in identification.

It is actually Microcos paniculata .. Hasoli in Malvani language..fruits are edible

Yes.  I concur with  Smitha ji .  Its earler name or syn. Grewia microcos.  In Kannada it is known as Pitla kayi.  I have seen this in Western Ghats near Shimoga.
