I think seems to match with description in Flora of China and FOC illustration (except it say small tree upto 8 m).

On further scrutiny and going through descriptions in Flora of China as also discussed in MS March, 2020/15 Ligustrum compactum ? for ID/confirmation, it should be Ligustrum compactum due to large leaves, long acumnate apex and more no. of lateral veins along with flower shape being different from those at SK 2670 16 July 2020
