Correct id needed.Is this Lagerstroemia flos-reginae[syn L. speciosa]
,Jarul?Can there be 2 or 3 colours with the same Bot.ID? Would like
some clarification!Pic taken in Lalbagh,Bangalore-April'08.

Lagerstroemia speciosa
I have seen them in light and dark pink colors. I think it depends on
the amount of exposure to sunlight...or may be age too.
Well this is my own observation, others may enlighten.

Yes it is Lagerstroemia flos-reginea :common name is pride of India
