Attaching two images of Zingiber zerumbet (WILD ZINGER ).According to Botanica( A publication by Random House Australia Pty Ltd)
" This clump forming,upright species is native to India and Southeast Asia.It has narrow,12 inch long leaves.On separate tall stems are overlapping greenbracts aging to red,surroundingwhite or gold flowers.The rhizomes are bitter to eat,but can be used in potpourri. "
