The plant in the attached photo is Sonchus arvensis Linn. from the family Compositae/Asteraceae. According to "BENGAL PLANTS' By David Prain Vol-1 Page 629.

This is probably Pathri in Marathi.

Leaves are edible slightly bitter. Some sort of medicine of bowel.
