In the Cactus nursery or--whatever is known as this was the only cactus which was eye catching

Hi, Bindu ji,

Species given in Tropical Garden Plants by Bose, Chowdhury & Sharma is (which I think it should be) Disocactus flagelliformis syn. Aporocactus flagelliformis (Rat-tail Cactus), which matches with your pix.
