This was the interesting information provided by Dr. Goutam Joglekar, in a different post:
"Found these flowers on a hilltop medow or sada near Hedwi in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. These flowers bloom in the Monsoons. These are mildly fragrant small flowers. This is a ground orchid. The plant entirely measures 8-10 cm in height. It has only one leaf along the ground. These flowers are very common on the hilltop medows of konkan."
