Hello All ,
 
Attaching a photo of talipot palm taken at Mazgoan,Mumbai.
 
The speciality of this palm is that it flowers and fruits only once in life time (at the age of 40-60years) and then dies.
Also, it has one of the largest inflorescence, towering well above the leafy portion.
