Dear All,

Please help me in identifying this tree

 

 

Date / Time – 7th Feb. 2010 / 12.50 pm.

Location – Place /Altitude / GPS – Nal Sarovar-Near Ahemadabad .

Habitat – Garden/ Urban/ Wild / Type – Wild

Plant Habit – Tree/Shrub / Climber /Herb – A Tree

Height /Length –  about 20 ft.

Leaves Type / Shape / Size –

Inflorescence Type /Size –

Flowers Size /Colour /Calyx –

Fruits Type /Shape /Size / Seeds –

Other Information like Fragrance,Pollinator,Uses etc –

dear shobha ji

it seems to be Salvadora but need some close up of the plant coz its
difficult as well as malpractice by identifying plants by general
photographs.

... drooping branches resembling braids, reminds me of putranjiva tree ... Putranjiva roxburghii. ... could be far from fact.

Crooked stem, light coloured bark and trailing branches also go in
favour of Salvadora. Regards, Shrikant

close-up.Will try with my co-traveler .But surely its not
