Dear all,

This mail brings you an opportunity to help shape the future of the next generation. As you may or may not know Education in India is a battle for every child and parent. While India surges towards becoming the next big superpower on one hand, on the other hand  there is a large section of aspiring population that is left behind. One of the striking aspects of India, as compared to most other countries in the world is this paradox of development . While one section of the population, is at the forefront of technology, strongly leading innovations and businesses worldwide and forming the backbone of the country's GDP growth story, a  vast majority is still disempowered. More than 300 million people especially children don't have access to any form of education. Without education they have no chance to progress in this fiercely competitive society.

As a fellow human being, each one of us fortunate enough to receive good formal education must do our bit to put at least a few children out of this spiral of poverty and lack of opportunity, to give them a fair chance. ROSE vzw (www.rosevzw.net) is a non-profit volunteer organisation (VZW) based in Leuven that works towards this cause since the year 2000.  Our focus is on supporting Educational initiatives in India specifically targeting poor children.  We are organizing a small event to help raise awareness among you, discuss your opinions and see how we can work together so as to help the children in India. No amount of time is small enough to avoid giving this mission a thought.

We look forward to your participation in this event and join us for this noble cause. Food and drinks will be available for free and some interactive sessions are planned.

Event Details:
Location: Pangaea
Date:      10th Feb (Sunday), 15h00-18h00

Regards,
ROSE Team
