Dear All!

As many people knew, the President of ISAL (Mr.Kishore.) had resigned
due to misunderstandings and misbehaviour of two of the committee
members. Thus, the presidential charge was given to the Vice President
of ISAL (R.C.Mishra) to go ahead with the Activities of ISAL and set
things right. However, contrary to that belief the situation took a
turn towards the worse possible direction.

After the big failure of Christmas Dinner planned on December 13th
2008, the Vice president took cover of the situation and blamed the
failure of the event on president's resignation, even though the
resigned president had taken the necessary steps for the conception of
the event, before he left. Simply put into context, the vice-president
was incapable of pulling-off the event and hence in order to hide his
incapabilities, he posted an email regarding postponement of the
Christmas Dinner without taking the ISAL committee into confidence. It
was quiet apparent that the Vice president and General Secretary of
ISAL were acting on their own and making ISAL-related decisions
without consulting the ISAL committee.

After watching this Pandora Box fall-out, the ex-President withdrew
his resignation with the support of many Indians and past ISAL
committee members, in order to undone the damage done to ISAL's image.
Further, some disciplinary actions were taken against the committee
members responsible for the mess, specially General Secretary of ISAL
who was expelled from the committee because of being rude with the
committee members, especially the President. The Vice President
R.C.Mishra was also expelled from the committee because of
mismanagement and miss-use of ISAL properties like ISAL website and
ISAL groups. It must be mentioned here that though with the help of
past ISAL webmaster, we have been successful in recovering the ISAL
website, there are still some ISAL internet communication modules to
which we don't have access due to the ex-vice-president's control.

The reinstated President (Kishore) has revised his committee and the
current Holi Event (whose invitation was released this morning) is the
first event for this new committee. Hence we would like to take this
opportunity to request all the ISAL members to attend this event in
large numbers and help us in bringing back ISAL to its best. Lastly,
elections for the posts of Vice president and General Secretary are
slated to take place during this event.

Best Regards and Happy Holi,
ISAL Committee
