Hello,

This is for your kind information that we enclosed an invitation of "Durga Puja" 2008.

We are proud to present the third successive Durga Utsav this year, in Brussels (Rue Maercelis 34, 1050 Brussels), BELGIUM, over five days between 5th and 9th October 2008. As in 2007, the Utsav this year promises to be a cultural carnival where people from all back grounds and cultures will participate and enjoy as one.
The cynosure of the festival will be the idols of Devi Durga and her family, hand-crafted from bio-degradable materials, in a traditional way, and brought from Kolkata. The five-days festival will also include various socio-cultural events and performances to provide meaningful entertainment to the audience and to help create cultural cohesion among various ethnic communities.
We intend to organise events involving participants from within the local communities in Belgium along with artists and professional performers from other parts of the world (e.g., Netherlands, India and Germany). Arrangement for lunch and dinner(Prased) will be made for everyone attending the festival during all five days of puja.
