Dear Mr. Yogesh Parte,

I am a student intern from India doing my internship at Airbus. I got
to know that you have quite alot of information about the taxation
rules of France. I just wanted your help in this regard and wanted to
know if some tax will be deducted from my stipend or not. I am here
for 5 months, till June,2010 andi only receive a stipend from the
company, not a salary. I am on a student visa.

I will be grateful to you if you can provide some information in this
regard.

Well, first of all I am not very knowledgeable as far as taxation in France is concerned.

Whatever, little information I have is already there on the Indians in Toulouse website. I request you to refer to relevant pages on Indians in Toulouse website.

In particular since I was a salaried full time doctoral student in Toulouse, I am aware about possible taxation issues pertaining to students with similar status. Since your case is of "internship" with industry, (totally different than mine), it will be more appropriate to consult the human resource department of the company for your tax related queries. I suppose they will be in better position to provide you the authentic information.

Another source is the website of French government's income department. If you know French you can post your query there.

hi.. if you can answer the followinf questions I might be able to help :) 1. snce when are you in france and til when would you be here? 2. is your salaire net imposable, (this is written separetely on the left hand bottom corner of your salary slip  mentioned as salaire imposable mensuel), around SMIC i.e. 1000 euros? 3. is your internship for 5 months or six months? 4. when did your internship start and end? 5. since it ends in June 2010, would you be having other declared source of income in 2010? this should help a lot.. I am in France since the 15th of January, 2010. I will be here till
the end of June. Around 25th June.

I have not got a pay slip a yet. I will get it on the 1st of march.

I'm sorry for the late reply.
I did not have access to the internet in the mean time.

I am in France since the 15th of January, 2010. I will be here till

the 18th of June, 2010. It sums upto about 150 days.
I have not received a payslip yet, I will get it on the 1st of March.
My Internship is for 5 months.
It started on the 18th January and will end on 18th June.
I don't have any other declared source of income for 2010.
