Attestation of Documents and Notaire (Suman MOPARTHY, Post_Doc, Meteo-France)

Warm regards to all of you. I am Dr. Suman MOPARTHY, post-doc working in Meteo-France, Toulouse.

I have an urgent need to get a document notarized along with attestation of other academic documents to be sent to my family in India.

Could you please guide me how to deal this.

Hello Suman,

May I know the reason for the attestation of docs?.

Normally, You can notarize the documents either by contacting the nearest Notary Public (French) https://notaries-europe.com/france/toulouse/ or the nearest VFS office (Indian Embassy) https://www.vfsglobal.com/india/france/Issue_life_certificate.html . Please note that, VFS accepts only the docs which are already apostled.

Also, the documents will be French and you can’t use them in India. So, After getting them notarized, you can send  the scanned copies to Alliance Français Madras (cheap & best option) for translation. They will translate the docs & send a scanned copy by email. If you require the translated hard copies, they can post it to your Indian address against a payment for Rs.50 towards postal charges.
