bringing medicines from india

Hello friends,

Let me know if someone has experience any problem (at airport, customes.. ) while bringing large quantities
(for 3 or 4 months use) of medicines (with prescription from indian doctor) from India to France.

what do you mean by "large quantities"..??
IF you have a prescription .. no problem with customs :)

I had brought a lot of medicines, for regular illnesses and no pros..
when i say lot.. i mean like 100 tablets of cetrizine...
4 antibio courses of acute diarrehea etc..

Hi Sree,
I took lots of medicines with doc prescription in my baggage(not cabin baggage).It will be no problem at all at any airport.

Thanks.large quantities mean about 100 or more tabs. for daily
medication for 3 to 4 months.
yes we will have prescription with us.

I got pills from India with a docs prescription. Dint have any issues.
My 2cwp

 - Pack the medicines individually(grouped by brand) and keep them in a separate puch
 - Carry the original copy along with some xerox copies (Make sure the doc gives you a proper prescription, in his letter head )

I dint face any questions during scanning, for the meds.
