Independence Cup 2013 – 3^{rd and} 4^thAug – Schuman Ground 
 

1.       9 players a team

2.       8 overs matches at league stage

3.       10 overs matches for semis and finals

4.       6 to 8 teams at the Maximum. 

5.       Teams should be divided into 2 groups

6.       Morning Group 1 should play all the matches and then Group 2 in the afternoon

7.       Semi’s and Finals are planned 2^nd day [if we get 8 teams]

8.       Lottery system to decide groups [all the captains has to be present]

9.       Entry Fee is 90 euros per team

10.   Winners and Runners should get the Price Money and Trophy

11.   Balls and Water should be provided.

HI All,

There is a small change in the Up coming "Independence Cup 2013".

Due to high request from some participating teams/members  we are  shifting this tournament to August 10-11 ( Saturday -Sunday).

Please make a note of this and enroll your teams accordingly.

Antwerp Indians are cordially inviting to participate cricket enthusiast in Brussels/Belgium for playing indoor cricket (youth and seniors) during winter season weekends.

* This League will be for U15/juniors and seniors playing under the ICC approved Indoor cricket league rules and regulations; which means there is good potential of 2 to 3 matches (total 20 overs in two hours) per team in one day.

* Six members in one Indoor Cricket team 

* last day to confirm the participation of your team by 3rd October 20.00 hours for the match schedule in Q4 2013

* tournament will start on 12 Oct-30 March each Saturday Sunday 12.00-20.00 hours

* if possible, clubs should/need to participate together with a junior team or 3 junior players

Estimated Cost will be charge pro rata basis shared between the teams (e.g. the indoor halls are available at 40 - 58 Euro per hour). We estimate the cost should be approximately 3 euro per team member.   

For your info, 

there are already six team from Antwerp Cricket Club, two team from Gent Cricket club available. Antwerp Indians have possibility to hire two halls in outskirts of Antwerp; between Brussels and Antwerp. 

Since the idea is growing currently to grow the league size; and should there be enough teams from Brussels reason, then we may consider hiring a hall in/around Brussels for League matches.
