Hello People,
I am happy to see you are interested. And I noticed your newsgroup
because India is a fascinating country today. I have read recently the
book "The World is Flat" (Friedman) and it really highlights how it
will become more and more powerfull.
I am not myself an analyst, but a business developer. I have been
working in Retail during several years in France and now I am focused
on strategic research in Retail, working for several companies based
in London. I am aware of the retailers' demand when it's about
research, and I am sure we can do far better than the expensive and
closed research delivered today.
That's why I am working since several month on an ambitious project,
providing open-source research. The software industry is today
increasing crazily thanks to the open-source models, I am convinced we
can do the same for reseach, and I am very far in that, as I have
already a business plan ready, the future website is 90% ready and I
am actually gathering an analyst team.
That's about me, could I know a little more about you guys ? where are
you from, what is your experience... ? I would be more than happy to
go further with you in this idea !!!
All your feedbacks are welcome !!!
Romain
