Release & Production Application Lead
- Report Development – Crystal, Business Objects. Additionally SQL Server BI Reporting Tools preferred (SQL Server Analysis Server – SSAS, SQL Server Reporting Server – SSRS, Proclarity/Performance Point)
- SQL Programming – Build complex stored procedures, reverse engineer existing stored procedures and rebuild for efficiency.
- Potential for Team Lead – supervise report development team
- Cube Development – Define and build dimensional database structure and reporting cubes (SSAS)
- Standards Definition and Communication – Responsible for the definition and documentation of and adherence to reporting standards and development process
Education:
Requires a bachelor's degree ~ Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, MIS, Finance.
Technical Experience
- Report Development – experience building complex reports using Crystal and universe/reports development using Business Objects (BO XI required. Additionally, SQL Server BI Tools would be requested such as Proclarity/Performance Point). BO/Crystal Console Management
- SQL Coding – Experience building complex stored procedures. Ability to reverse engineer previously built procedures and rebuild for efficiency or change in source. Includes SQLServer, Oracle, DB2…
- Database/Cube Development – experience with the definition, build and use of cubes or multi dimensional data structure for reporting.
- Modeling – Ability to model a process flow or database design using Visio, ERStudio or some such
Experience:
- 9+ years in report & SQL development – Senior Report Developer.
- Track record working with business partners to develop and maintain reporting tools and data structure
- Practice in documenting requirements for new database development
- Experience migrating BO/Crystal reports to BO XI advantageous.
- Ability to define, document and communicate standards/process
- Experience ideally will also include systems implementation, project management.
- Highly Organized.
Specialized Skills & Knowledge:
Requires experience in reporting and sql programming, data analysis and documentation.
