Dear EfEC Educators,
In addition to co-leading the Educating for Environmental Change project, I also run the Indiana University School of Education AmeriCorps IMPACT project and I am currently looking to hire a project manager for the following position for the 2026-2027 academic year. If you or someone you know is interested in the position, please send me a resume. This project is ideal for a recent education graduate, a retired educator, or a current and part-time graduate student living in or near Bloomington, IN.
Thank you very much,
Adam
Position: Project Manager for the IU School of Education AmeriCorps IMPACT project. This is a full-time (approximately 32 hours per week) position funded by AmeriCorps. Note that this position will be hired via AmeriCorps, not Indiana University.
Job Description: Recruit and coordinate ~20 IU undergraduate and graduate students to serve as tutors (mostly for K-6 mathematics, but also for K-6 literacy) in rural school districts and provide them with day-to-day support as well as help provide them with professional development in partnership with IU School of Education faculty.
Compensation: A ~$39k “living wage”, a ~$10k “housing stipend”, and upon completion, a ~$7.5k “AmeriCorps Segal education award” (which can be used for educational purposes).
Benefits: This position is mostly remote and provides AmeriCorps medical benefits. Also, “AmeriCorps Project Manager” looks pretty good on a resume!
Please note that you must be a US citizen.
If you are interested in the position, please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you.
