Indiana Science Teachers — Join Us March 6–7 at IU Indianapolis!

Whether
you primarily teach biology, chemistry, environmental science, or
physical science — if physics ever shows up in your classroom, we’d love
to connect with you.
The Indiana Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT-IN) is hosting our 2026 Spring Meeting on March 6–7, and it’s designed to be practical, engaging, and classroom-focused.
Keynote: The Physics of Rock n’ Roll — exploring physics concepts through music
Friday night Demo Derby (classroom-ready ideas you can actually use!)
Saturday teacher workshops and interactive sessions
A supportive space to share ideas and learn from fellow Indiana educators
You
don’t have to be a “physics person” to attend. If you teach motion,
energy, waves, electricity, sound, or physical science concepts at any
level, this conference is for you.
You’re also welcome to submit a demo, classroom activity, or session proposal — we value practical, teacher-driven ideas.
