As you know, there is a lot of confusion around who should take National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) for admission into MBBS and BDS Colleges.

Now that all the dust is settled through an Ordinance from the Union Govt., every student of every State who wants to apply for Private Medical Colleges or where the States do not have their own Entrance Tests are required to appear for NEET.  From next year onwards, 100% of the students should take NEET  (including those going to Govt. Colleges!).
