Indian Spring Master Association (ISMA) Board Elections 2019

ISMA will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. in the Club Room at Indian Spring Country Club, 11501 El Clair Ranch Road, Boynton Beach, Florida. At this meeting the members would elect four directors to serve a two-year term.

There is a prevalent feeling among the residents of Indian Spring that the ISMA Board has, thus far, failed in its responsibility to address a wide range of their concerns. Several ISMA Board members, POD Presidents and others also believe that ISMA Board should:

·      Be far more transparent in its actions - and not just rubber stamp decisions made by the Executive Committee without wider and open consultations.

·      Better represent the interests of all1,917 Indian Spring owners - not just a select few.

In addition, there are important issues that the Board needs to recognize and address. These, among others, include:

·      Conducting business - and debates - with full transparency- “in the sunshine”- and without involvement of the Executive Committee.

·      Presenting the finances of ISMA and MCIS (ISMA’s related management entity) - through independent and segregated financial audits.

To obtain a more transparent and inclusive Board, we believe that we must elect candidates that would be committed to making decisions that benefit all Indian Spring residents.

After careful and thoughtful consideration, we believe that the following four candidates reflect these objectives. We therefore endorse three new nominees and one incumbent. The new nominees would bring broad international and business experience, expertise in finance, and a dedication to accountability, as well as a commitment to transparency and respect for individuals.

To ensure that we have a Board that provides improved quality of service, enhanced accountability, improved communications, full transparency, and respect for all members, we ask that you only vote for the following four candidates - and none other:

• Zia Mian

• Barry Kesselman

• Bill Kling

• Patricia Atwater
