Dear everybody

I hope this freelance recruitment initiative is not disappointing the
inactivity in this group. I am considering having a separate group for
all those that would be interested in the deal.

Here are a few things to start with:
1) As stated in one of the previous posts
(http://groups.google.com/group/indian-recruiters/browse_thread/thread/4e92a45a36288f8d/#),
a friend of mine, proprietor of a consultancy, has opened up avenues
for freelance recruitment for people who are willing to make some extra
money, or are otherwise not able to dedicate themselves to a full-time
job.

2) The profit sharing concept has been worked out; 40% of the money
made (post-inclusion of service taxes) shall be the service fee for a
recruiter who places a candidate with any of the clients.

3) A google-page shall be kept live with all updated requirements, and
notifications shall be made on a regular basis. (I am yet to figure out
the frequency of sending notifications)

4) All recruiters shall adhere to a mutually agreed SLA that shall
govern the quality and timeliness of sending in resumes.

5) The email address recruiter...@gmail.com shall be dedicated
to the purpose of being a moderator, or PoC (point-of-contact) for all
the freelance recruiters.

6) I shall channelise all feedbacks and updates on status(s) of
positions and candidates.

7) Payments shall be made as cheques, after receipt of the same from
the client(s) by the firm.

We are considering meeting all those who would be interested in the
same, face to face, to discuss about what areas of expertise in terms
of technology and functionality one holds for mutual benefit.

Please note that I/we, would not be restricting anyone from choosing
the position that they would want to work on. Please send me a
personalized note on your availability to meet face to face the coming
Saturday at Jayanagar, Bangalore (thats where the office is)

Also, recruiters from outside Bangalore may feel free to contact me to
discuss on how we can take it further.

Vijay
BTW: I just made 3 placements with almost no effort over the last 2
months. I personally suggest that it would not hurt anyone to make a
few extra bucks this way ;-)
