Subject: Update Required: Grievance Cell Creation and Resolution of Retiree Pension Issues
Dear Sir,
Greetings from the Helping Hands Foundation (HHF)!
This is a gentle reminder regarding the email and letter sent by HHF on 8.11.2024, concerning:
The resolution of the pension recovery issue affected Mr. V. S. Janardhan Rao and numerous other retired employees.
To reiterate:
1. Grievance Cell Creation: We request an immediate update on the progress of establishing a dedicated grievance cell to address the concerns of pensioners and retirees systematically, in line with DFS instructions.
2. Status of Mr. Janardhan Rao’s Grievance: Please inform the current status of Mr. Rao’s case, including the actions taken by the Bank to rectify the wrongful deductions from his pension.
3. Expected Timeline for Resolution: Please provide a specific and realistic timeline for the closure of this issue and similar cases impacting approximately 150 retirees, as noted in our prior communication.
Despite our earlier correspondence, which is attached again for your reference, there has been no concrete response or progress on these critical issues. Additionally, we are attaching a photocopy of the Sava Haryana Gramin Bank circular dated 12.12.2024, which outlines the SOP for addressing pensioner grievances, for your reference and guidance in creating an effective mechanism.
We urge you to act promptly to address the concerns of these retired employees who dedicated their careers to the Bank’s success. Your failure to act risks tarnishing the Bank's reputation and morale among its retired workforce.
Please acknowledge receipt of this email and provide a comprehensive update on the steps taken, as well as the expected timeline for resolution.
We look forward to your immediate action and detailed response.
Yours sincerely,
Abdul Naseer

Subject: Second Reminder: Urgent Update Required on Grievance Cell and Retiree Pension Issues
To:
The Chairman,
Andhra Pragati Grameena Bank,
Kadapa.
Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your attention that despite our email dated 8.12.2024 and a gentle reminder sent on 19.12.2024, we have not received an acknowledgment of receipt of our communications, nor have we been informed about the developments concerning the following critical issues:
1. Grievance Cell Creation: The status of establishing a grievance cell to systematically address pensioner and retiree grievances, as instructed by the Department of Financial Services (DFS).
2. Resolution of Pension Recovery Issues: The progress made in resolving the grievance of Mr. V. S. Janardhan Rao, as well as the approximately 150 similar cases affecting other retirees.
3. Timeline for Closure: A clear timeline for resolving these long-standing issues, which continues to affect the retired employees of your Bank.
It is disappointing to note the lack of response to these important concerns, which reflect not only on the welfare of the retirees but also on the Bank’s commitment to its former employees who have played a pivotal role in its growth and success.
As conveyed in our earlier communications, Helping Hands Foundation is fully prepared to assist in resolving these matters in coordination with the EPF organization or addressing any procedural bottlenecks. We again urge you to acknowledge receipt of this email and provide an immediate and detailed update on the steps taken to resolve these issues.
Please note that continued delays and non-responsiveness may compel us to escalate the matter further.
Looking forward to your urgent response.
Yours
sincerely,

Subject: Final Reminder: Immediate Action Required on Grievance Cell Creation and Retiree Pension Issues
To:
The Chairman,
Andhra Pragati Grameena Bank,
Kadapa.
Dear Sir,
This serves as our final reminder following our earlier communications regarding the creation of a grievance cell and the resolution of pension recovery issues affecting retirees, specifically Mr. V. S. Janardhan Rao, among others. Despite repeated attempts to seek your response and updates, we have yet to receive any acknowledgment or progress report.
To recap:
1. First Communication: Email dated 8.12.2024 outlining the issues and urging immediate resolution.
2. Gentle Reminder: Email dated 19.12.2024 requesting acknowledgment and an update on developments.
3. Second Reminder: Email dated 7.1.2025 emphasizing the lack of response and the urgency of addressing these critical matters.
Key Issues Requiring Immediate Action:
1. Grievance Cell Creation: Status of establishing a grievance cell as instructed by the Department of Financial Services (DFS) to address retiree grievances systematically.
2. Resolution of Pension Recovery Issues: Developments in resolving the unjust deductions from Mr. Rao’s pension and similar grievances from approximately 150 other retirees.
3. Timeline for Closure: A clear timeline for resolving these long-standing and pressing issues.
It is imperative to highlight the importance of responding to Helping Hands Foundation (HHF) communications in a timely and respectful manner. The lack of acknowledgment and updates over the past month reflects poorly on the Bank's accountability and commitment to its retired employees who have devoted years of service to its growth and success.
Should we fail to receive your acknowledgment and a detailed update within seven days from the date of this email, we will have no choice but to initiate a suitable further course of action.
We urge you to treat this matter with the seriousness and urgency it demands and to respond without further delay.
