Subject: Urgent Request: Creation of Pensioners' Grievances Redressal Cell and Resolution of Retiree Grievance
To:
The Chairman,
Saptagiri Grameena Bank,
Head Office, Chittoor,
Andhra Pradesh.
Dear Sir,
Greetings from Helping Hands Foundation (HHF)!
We are a collective of professionals from various sectors across the country, committed to addressing long-pending issues of diverse nature and resolving them systematically, free of cost. For more information about our work and approach, please visit: https://helpinghandsnaseer.blogspot.com/2020/07/helping-hands-strategy.html
The subject of the Issue:
We write regarding the grievance of Mr. B.N. Nageswar Rao, a retiree of your
esteemed bank. In his representation dated 28.11.2024, he has sought
assistance in resolving his long-pending issue concerning interest on
pension arrears.
To address this matter, we sent an email on 3.12.2024, to the Department of Financial Services (DFS) and other relevant entities. For your reference, the same is being forwarded herewith.
Immediate Requirement:
It has come to our notice through reliable sources that during a recent video
conference, the DFS advised Chairmen of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) to
establish a Pensioners' Grievances Redressal Cell at each bank's Head
Office and confirm its creation by 18th December 2024.
Given the importance of providing structured and timely grievance redressal for pensioners, we urge the immediate establishment of the Pensioners' Grievances Redressal Cell at your bank's Head Office. This initiative will not only align with the directives from DFS but also ensure the effective resolution of grievances, enhancing trust and satisfaction among retired employees.
Our Request:
In view of the above, we kindly request you to:
1. Expedite the creation of the Pensioners' Grievances Redressal Cell at your Head Office and ensure its functionality by the DFS-advised timeline.
2. Register this email, along with Mr. B.N. Nageswar Rao’s representation, as the first grievance for action under the newly established cell.
3. Address and resolve Mr. Nageswar Rao’s issue related to the interest on pension arrears at the earliest.
We also request you to kindly acknowledge receipt of this email and Mr. Nageswar Rao’s representation for our records.
The establishment of the Grievances Redressal Cell will provide an efficient and transparent mechanism to address not only Mr. Nageswar Rao’s issue but also future grievances of other pensioners.
We look forward to your prompt action and a positive response.
Warm regards,
