Q: What is the Scope of migrating to Australia for a Chartered
Accountant from India?
A: Scope in general is good. The facts are that in first 3-4 months
don't expect to get a job in accounting not even as bookkeeper.
Once you get some local experience then the demand increases a lot. In
my particular case it took me 4 months to get my first part time
accounting job.
After that I got Contract for one month with BP Oil and so on.
One need to do his/her CA/CPA to get recognised for jobs of the level
higher than assistant accountant.
