Dear all,

It takes three years (minimum) to complete the CA. It consist of 5
papers. 3 years training. No exemptions to Indian CA(s) in training or
exams. The one benefit of doing CA from ICAA is that Indian CA(s) have
to do two bridging papers to enroll to start CA from ICAA. If you want
to compare this with CPA Australia. One need to do three bridging
papers to enroll to start CPA. CPA has got six papers/segments to be
completed to become a CPA. The training to Indian CA(s) has recently
been exempted to Indian CA(s). The Exam fees for CPA is quite lesser
than CA. Qualifying CPA is quite easier than CA. Most of the Indian
CA(s) do CPA, based on the number of Indian CA(s) I know in Melbourne
and Sydney. Please refer to ICAA (www.icaa.com.au) and CPA
(www.cpaaustralia.com.au) websites for further information.

I would request you guys to make contribution to this group by adding
your experiences and the things that have benefited you by sharing it.

Thanks.

Regards,
Shashi
