Message centre number for Vodafone

I'm unable to sent any SMS from my handset. Called operator and was asked to check the message centre number in settings. However I see no option to change the message centre number when i go to message settings..

Using aokp Rom on nexus..

No option. Insert present sim into another device, check, change if required, save & put it back on the Nexus.

Ok have put in a Nokia device.

I guess the message centre number is +91982005444

What is the name of the message centre

Name is not important. Make sure u get the centre number is right.

Dialing *#*#4636#*#* brings up a troubleshooting / statistics menu page.

Dial that and select Phone information and at the bottom you can enter the SMSC (Short Mail Service Center) number.

Can be done from Device itself..

Ok put the SIM card in a Nokia handset the message gets delivered and sent.

Not from the nexus...Any suggestions

I think something is wrong with the nexus .. i messed up that extra
settings from *#*#4636#*#* .. dunno what the defaults are.. can
anyone attach screen shots
