BIOMASS/AGRO WASTE POWER PROJECTS IN THE STATE OF PUNJAB ON BUILD, OPERATE & OWN (BOO) BASIS

Punjab Energy Development Agency(PEDA) is the state nodal agency for
the promotion and development of renewable energy sources in the state
of Punjab. The state of Punjab has a large un-exploited
biomass/agro-residue resource sufficient to generate more than around
500 MW of power. With a view to harness this major biomass resource for
power generation through private sector participation, PEDA invites
proposals from prospective promoters, developers and builders(Domestic
as well as international) for setting up of Biomass/Agro waste based
power generation projects in the State of Punjab under the NRSE
Policy-2001. Offers on BOO basis are invited by PEDA for the following
project sites under Phase-ll where estimated biomass assessment has
been carried out:

b) Inland postal charges Rs 500/-
c) Interational Courier service charges Rs 2000 or US$ 70
d) Date of commencement of sale of information brochure/bid document
e) Last date for sale of information brochure/bid document 21.11.2005
f) Pre-bid conference date 19.12.2005
g) Last date and time of receipt of offers 23.12.2005 at 1300hrs
h) Date and time of opening of offers 23.12.2005 at 1500hrs

Bidders are required to purchase separate bid documents for each
site/taluka. The technical and financial proposals enclosed in
separate envelopes should be submitted in triplicate. The offers
without EMD & processing fee shall be
rejected. PEDA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all
proposals/offers without assigning any reasons thereof.

forms available, and what is course of action. Neeraj has advised that he
can get the Dullo thing done for these.
