its truely nice to learn about the possible investment and business potentials at nepal and no doubt this and many more such project/s and hydro power gen can be lucrative to our investors BUT it is very essential to keep and bear in minds that nepal government  and theirs law and order authorities have all the time  failled very miserablly to provide the protection to any of indian or foreign investors or businessmen

thus-it will be much more better to orgainze own defence and protection when any one orgn or company or so called consortium think to venture in trouble torned country like nepal.
Remember-no authority will allow you to do this-to organize your own defence in their own land and all the chances that if some dispute that may arise then your defence  will be treated as an insergent group ...the this is a terrible situation..at that time....

i am not against nepal and not opposing them or their policies but the army or police when can not defend themselves and in such cases to trust on/upon whom becoms very difficult

just two three days back two indians were kidnapped and later released by maoist.-how/when/why-all these are the facts of few days only...
this news items are still live on tv and medias.
thus i think to venture there in such huge project will be with very much risk involved factors
for your safety or your people's safety one will have to be very much open handed with full financial CASH in case some one or group is hijacked and kept  in bann  for ransom
you can trust the principles but can not trust the lust of such group which even can alter the entire government.
all said-and-done and written then remains only on papers.
we have had several written agreements with all of our neighbour nations but who remembers now?and who cares?where power is an answer.strength is the weapon.mind can plan how to fight  but mind can not fire bullets.yes-can write more stronger then bullet-all words-history is the witness.

all signed agreements will remain on paper-when some one is hijakked and kept for ransom and then who will protect OUR PEOPLE????

its better on the other hand to go to china for the developements of their
TIBET BASED PLANNED HYDRO POWER GENERATION PROGRAMME as atleast the whole MAO  CULT is with you to protect you i.e.investors and the techinicians and human lives.
Nepal is a very good nation.i am not against nepal or nepalese but they themselves are in great troubles and when they themselves are not safe in their own place then why to invite our fellows to such venture...i am sorry but our group must think on these lines.

to me it will be a foolish investments to go to such a country where the govt itself hv bowed down to the insergencies and insergents.
and again now they are in power sharing-indirectly or  directly.

i am looking for good hydro power project developements-himachal state has its own plus as well as minus points.
i need not to discuss these here.but hydro power projects are over crowded there or  crowded there -though still it has a big potential-
think also of uttaranchal  and in the down streams of haryana and punjab regions--
still there is a large and big scope and see TV and medias of the day itself-
our own politicians are creating oppose of the reliance power plants in some areas...and opposed by the personality like our hon. ex p.m.status fellows

the locals may be having some problems  but one has to look to the over all public benefits.and not for ballots benefits.

A group of nris from usa-with interests to venture into hydro power project-with good investment in hydropower project.they are  client group of mine-
i am told by nri s from usa to look for their desire to go for such venture.
they hv funds and their bankers too have assured them the adequate fundings.
this is what- they have told to me during their visits to india nad my visits to them
but-
as a consultant to such group specially nris from usa-i will never dare to suggest or recommend NEPAL to them because if something goes off the track then a  big international issue will arise-involving the USA-they will come fast to protect their nationals but then who will care for the poor consultant/s and techinocrates and staff fellows-??
our indians  even lord shiv jee or maa durga will not descend from
mount kailas....when maoist or others take them away...

i am NOT against of any project that nepal or they may be planning but I have placed my thoughts as a precaution  or as a caution note here.
There are many now looking for the opportunity exploration in hydro power dev sector-thinking of big revenues ...an ususal human temptation...
Any bodywill say to not to afraide but ask only to those who were held and ask to their families-when someloving person is taken away and what a tragedy....

any way..atleast japees  or such other BIGS  where the management decides-employee goes...this is a different issue...at all place one can not expect any foreign kuwaitee company coming to rescue and/or assistance to the dead employee-and their families...here compensation is also very migre and poor ....so one has got to be careful.....

this is life - very precious..when someone needs to go and invest-
please assess...and plan for venture....in or our OWN  other himalayan states of  north east frontiers like 
down south east regions of kashmere-ladakh-leh-himachal/uttranchal/arunachal/sikkim/etc etc do have such unexplored potentials.
even there too some problems are already there but can be negotiated with the help and joint ventures with local partners
i have given my opinion.
i am not asking or suggesting any one to believe in my beliefs or thoughts.this is a manch-dias and any member can speak and write  his/her opinions-
its my own thoughts.
i wrote as i know the DANGERS  and RISK factors involved in establishing such huge venture with our precious indian ruppes-which is truely hard to earn in india- and also our most intelligent engineers and technocrates.....and risk them in such a nation which is unable to protect their own king and rulers and also with almost unsuccessful administration in managing the scenarios at their or in their own grounds.

well good luck to some adventurous felows if they feel they are courageous but all knows that-........famous  saying ......aap  muae  feer  dub  gayyee duniya.....
