I have used the following library for synthesis of the iopads using
Design Compiler (Synopsys).

L180_GII_1P6M_1_8V__3_3V/fsa0a_c/2008Q3v2.0/T33_ANALOGESD_IO/FrontEnd/
synopsys/fsa0a_c_t33_analogesd_io_tt1p8v25c.db

But it is giving the following warning and error when I compile.

Warning: IO pad 'XSCI0CUTD' is unusable: unknown logic function.
(OPT-1022)
Warning: IO pad 'XSCI0CUTC' is unusable: unknown logic function.
(OPT-1022)
Error: The target library does not contain an inverter.
An inverter is required for mapping. (OPT-101)

Can anyone please help me out.

Thanks

With regards
Savitha

Hello savi,

Do not bother for these warnning, this getting due to these are anaolg pads, doesn't have logic function, just check in your netlist & RTL shcematic for net connectivity is according to you have specified, It is not going to harm any thing your design

Hello,
Analog ESD is using N_33_GII and P_33_GII transistors for
buffers/inverters which may not be available in your library and hence
the errors . No need to worry about that.
