Dear all:
Happy start of the new year!
We will meet in Room 502 Ed bldg at noon, sharp.
It is a time for all of us to come together, once more, before we leave for India. Any final thoughts for all of us as a group can be shared.So, bring your ideas, questions, etc.
Agenda for class:
(1) Review/overview of 11 readings (there are 14 articles/chapters, of which you will read three on returning). I suggest that you carry a folder of these readings with you to India, since you might want to refer to them when doing your reflections. Carry a notebook along for journaling.
(2) Discuss and sign Expectations document.
(3) Fill in Emergency Contacts document.
(4) I will lend each of you Rs 200 so that you can have some local currency when you land/take a taxi from the airport. You can return the amount once you settle in at Lady Doak. The exchange rate is amazing for us: Rs. 50+ per US dollar.
(5) Please bring a copy of your detailed flight itinerary so that Jana has it.
(6) Bring brown-bag lunch. Jana and I are both available to answer any last minute questions.
