WHAT IS A BIOSAND FILTER?

A BioSand Filter is a simple, cost-effective, eco-friendly solution that utilizes a concrete vessel containing layers of fine sand and gravel. Contaminated water is poured on top, and gently flows down through the sand and gravel and finally out of the exit spout as clean drinking water!
