Dear Friends

You've surely wondered why India's governance is so poor, even as the most of the Western world is able to get at least the basics right. The answer lies in the design of India's governance systems and incentives.

The Indian Institute of Public Administration is jointly convening a 2 day conference with India Policy Institute on 13 and 14 April 2013.

Never before in India's history has such detailed explanation of reasons for India's dismal governance been provided - WITH solutions that are guaranteed to work. You will learn a lot as a citizen. That I can assure you!

Inaugural address will be by Shri Gurcharan Das, public intellectual and author of India Unbound. Chairperson of the main session, in which I'll provide two key lectures, is Shri T N. Chaturvedi, Chairman, IIPA and former Governor of Karnataka. Some participants may wish to present papers, subject to my prior agreement, in the later part of the 2 days.

There is no cost to Indian citizens to attend. Seats are extremely limited so please book early.

Brochure attached.

Please note that I need to raise about Rs.3 lakhs in sponsorship, so please let me know if you can help in any way. I'm sure India can raise such an small amount for such an important issue.
