As you know we are conducting sixteen days of activism in Bhopal, during these days we have conducted film shows, signature campaign, awareness programs /camps departments at community levels, public dialogue with different departments.
In continuation with this Domestic Workers Women Rights Union is organizing Gharelu Kaamgar Sammelan along with the support of Sangini on 10th December, Human Rights Day. Approx. 3000 domestic workers from all over Bhopal will participate in this program where they will share their experience and raise demands related to their rights, dignity of labour, minimum wages, social security and protection, weekly off and issues related to their Human Rights violation and exploitation.
Honorable Labour Minister of M.P Antar Singh Arya will be our chief guest where he will address our domestic workers as well as they will render him the Charted of Demand. Our other guests will be Surjit Singh (Chairman of BMC), Alok Sharma (Mayor), S.S. Dixit (Additional Labour Commissioner) and M.P. Singh (Additional Commissioner, BMC) who will also attend and address this program with their presence.
So we cordially invite and request you all to make your valuable presence and contribution in making this effort successful.
