Made this at Bharatpur (Keoladeo National Park) in
Rajasthan (160 kms from Delhi), India on 10th January.
With adequate rains and the water being released from a
river, the Park is in pristine condition and with abundant food for the birds.
Therefore, it is not just the migratories and the trademark Storks,
Herons etc are having a good time but other commoners to are in playful
mood.
Have never before such a huge number of Comb Ducks and
Lesser-Whistling Ducks and the former on trees, true to its classification as
a Tree Duck.
