Key Skills:

Proven experience in a network administrator role.

·         CCNA (R&S, Security)

·         Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching & Firewall, DHCP, DNS, FTP Technologies.

·         Experience with firewalls (Cyberoam & Fortigate), VPN’s.

·         Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g. Static Routing, OSPF, IPSEC, HSRP, GRE Tunnel, QoS, DHCP, Wireless Technologies etc.)

·         Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking

Key Job Responsibilities:

·         Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless Devices VPN etc.)

·         Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations

·         Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability

·         Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues

·         Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure

·         Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team

·         Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

·         Working on Network Devices (CISCO Routers, Switches, Wireless Devices, VLAN, HSRP, VRRP, GRE Tunnel, OSPF, BGP, PBR, QOS).

·         Network Security:- Managing Firewalls (Fortinet, Cyberoam & SOPHOS), Configured and implement web-filter policies, DMZ zone, IPSec, Application filter etc.

·         Resolves issues within the LAN/WAN environments. Ensure that the WAN and LANs are operating efficiently and optimal.

·         Maintaining backup of Network Devices (routers, Firewall etc.)

·         Complete understanding of DHCP and DNS.

·         Introducing new technologies in network and network security in consultancy with security head

·         Knowledge of IPSec / SSL-VPN Tunnel configuration and troubleshooting.

·         Coordinating with ISP

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

To maintain, monitor and completely manage the LAN/WAN networks.

Administering network security, ensure network security and connectivity

Resolve problems reported by end user as per agreed SLA

Network support during VC

MIS report of location uptime
